Skiing and snowboarding are the go-to for many Michiganders and people in the region. Don’t have the sense of balance required for skiing or snowboarding?  Snow tubing may be for you. Michigan has over 20 hills of varying lengths and speeds for the snow tubing and sledding enthusiast. Some even have tow ropes to take you back to the top of the run making it the ultimate in winter recreation.

 

Did you know that Michigan has over 6,500 groomed snowmobile trails? This interconnected network of trails gives you over 3,000 miles of Michigan splendor to enjoy.  Don’t forget about the Michigan Snowmobile Festival happening in February in Gaylord! It’s a chance to meet up with fellow snowmobilers, tour the city on your sled, and enter to win cash prizes!
